The choice of the surface of the breast implant directly influences the surgical outcome.
Silimed’s textured surface is produced with a proprietary method, without the use of negative printing, sugar or sodium chloride, which results in advantages such as reduced possibility of adverse events, safety and long-term predictability.
This microtexture is available in the Biodesign line, which offers 4 different shapes and 4 projection sizes, for each of these shapes.

True Texture implants have their own texturing method consisting of the Difussion Gas Method, forming in its membrane a structure of open pores, without using sugar or sodium chloride, and that reduces the incidence of capsular contracture.
Pure Polyurethane has been manufactured by Silimed for 35 years, which has the greatest experience in manufacturing implants coated with polyurethane foam. This coating drastically reduces the rate of capsular contracture, promotes its adhesion to tissues and, therefore, is more effective for patients suffering from ptosis, being able to reduce rotation and displacement of the implant.
