Polyurethane implants have a great ability to adhere to tissues, and have the Velcro effect, which is highly effective for patients with breast ptosis, providing an improvement in the appearance of the breasts.

The main indication for patients with ptosis is the conical profile polyurethane implant (Advance), which provides a natural super-projection of the lap, suitable for breast skin removal surgery with optimal projection and fewer scars.

Features

The second main reason for reinterventions in breast augmentation surgeries is rotation and movement of the implant.4 The 3D mold with collagen woven into the polyurethane foam causes a Velcro-like adhesion, which prevents the implant from rotating or shifting. move.1

It is also known that the shape of anatomical implants with other types of surfaces can rotate around the vertical axis over time, something that has already been documented in various publications. The polyurethane foam coating avoids this complication for the patient and the surgeon, mainly through the use of this implant profile.3

The cohesive strength of the implant gel is an important factor determining the natural appearance and shape stability over time.3
